視覚皮質における第6層のニューロン。

画像の下方に皮質の第6層のニューロンの細胞体がある。ニューロンは樹状突起を持ち、この樹状突起は皮質の他の層を通りながらそれぞれの層から情報を受け取る。第6層のニューロンは、皮質全体の長さにもなる。ほぼ1mmの長さを持つ。
