Examples of waves detected on OMEGA data between the MY26 to MY29 using the OMEGA-Py python module. (IMAGE)
Caption
Each image was processed and projected, and the 0.5 μμm wavelength was selected to detect the wave packets. Images A, B, D, F, and G are at Ls≈150°; Image C at Ls≈285°; Image E at Ls≈245°. Image G is an example of narrow images covering a wide range of latitudes but a very tiny range in longitude, between 334.41°–334.53° for latitude = 11.51°). The color bars represent the reflectance of the selected images, calculated as I/F.cos(i), which accounts for radiance normalized by the Solar flux and the incidence angle.
