Research published in Heart Rhythm compared the traditional bioptome method (T-B-M) to a novel method (L-S-M) combining heart biopsy and device implantation and found the new procedure to be technically feasible and safe, and able to yield valuable and early diagnosis for patients who are candidates for CIEDs.
