New computer models open door to far more targeted antibiotics (IMAGE)

After the UVA research team developed sophisticated computer models of every human bacterial pathogen with sufficient genetic information available, Emma Glass analyzed all the models and identified shared traits among the bacteria. This could pave the way for far more targeted antibiotics that attack bacteria in only a particular part of the body.
