Mechanisms of Mutation-Induced Pathogenesis in sporadic CCMs.

The inactivation mutation of CCM1/2/3 complex leads to a reduced inhibitory effect on MAP3K3. However, only with excessive activation of proliferation signals such as PI3K can clinical observations of CCM lesion enlargement or bleeding occur.
