Mechanical hardness of the hybrid plastic scintillator monotonically increases with the amount of PMMA

Caption

PMMA has significantly high chain stiffness and rigidity, the replacement of  the polystyrene matrix with non-aromatic PMMA matrix help construct a robust, three-dimensional cross-linked network, as a result improving the mechanical hardness.
