Helping Robots Make Good Decisions in Real Time (IMAGE)
Caption
A team of Caltech researchers has developed a planning and decision-making control system that helps freely moving robots determine the best movements to make as they navigate the real world. Called SETS (Spectral Expansion Tree Search), the algorithm can be applied to a variety of robotic systems and can help those systems make many optimal decisions every second.
