Shuming Wang

Shuming Wang is a professor at Nanjing University’s School of Physics. He received the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars (2023) and the Jiangsu Provincial Young Optics Award. His research focuses on metamaterials, photonic crystals, and plasmonics in linear, nonlinear, and quantum optics. He has published over 80 papers with 3000+ citations and was recognized in 2018 and 2020 as one of the Top Ten Advances in Chinese Optics.
