Novel Framework to Study Polygenic Diseases

The quantitative omnigenic model (QOM) in yeast predicts expression level of genes which regulate cellular processes. While GWAS uses only variation in the genomes (stars), the QOM also utilizes regulatory networks and explains how the genetic effects propagate through these networks.
