根据形态和分子数据构建的毛翅目系统发育树表明婚飞行为是毛翅目的祖征。始新世以来由于蝙蝠对具有婚飞行为的毛翅目产生了强大的捕食压力，造成很多毛翅目支系婚飞行为的丧失。
