The fins of the mudskipper (IMAGE)
Caption
A barred mudskipper has six different fins which they use for example to swim, dig, walk or during courtship. On land, the pectoral fins are most important to move but the pelvic fin on the belly and the tail (caudal fin) also play an essential role in propelling the fish forward.
