Joey, a soft, lightweight sensing fabric designed in the lab of Columbia Engineering Professor Xia Zhou, monitors care of preterm, low-birth-weight infants. The necklace can easily be worn by mothers to monitor their Kangaroo Mother Care practices with their babies,
