Experimental conditions and results (IMAGE) Kyushu University Caption Researchers at Kyushu University conducted three experiments to study the visual rabbit illusion. Traditionally, the first two flashes are presented at the same location. In these experiments, the researchers altered the position of the second flash to see how it affected the perceived illusion. The results showed that, under all three conditions, participants perceived the second flash near the center.
