From bench to bedside: Challenges and cutting-edge technologies for A-HCC study in the future.

The intricate tumor microenvironment (TME), coexisting risk factors, diverse genetic backgrounds and heterogeneity, are major challenges to decipher the pathological characteristics of A-HCC. Better pre-clinical models, and a deeper understanding of molecular mechanisms underlying alcohol induced HCC, may shed light on novel therapeutics of A-HCC clinically.
