The 6th scientist of the Institute of Science and Technology Austria (ISTA) in Klosterneuburg to win the Erwin Schrödinger Prize: Leonid Sazanov. In his research, the scientist bridges several academic disciplines, but when attempting to summarize him in one word, it would be “biochemist.” His research focuses on the structural biology of membrane protein complexes.
