Researchers develop a novel reporting system called the “EndoMT reporter endothelial cells” or EMRECs, to visualize the intermediate phases of EndoMT. Using RNA-sequencing and gene expression analyses in EMRECs, they identify CD40 as a novel partial EndoMT marker.
