A new book analyses the space, identity, and everyday life of Dongbei, the media representations created around Dongbei, and how this region in China is connected to the wider world. The book, “Identity, Space, and Everyday Life in Contemporary Northeast China”, is co-edited by three academics from Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University and another from City, University of London. It will be published by Palgrave Macmillan on 25 January.
