Ferromanganese crust from the Pacific Ocean

Accelerator mass spectrometry (AMS) measurements of this ferromanganese crust from the Pacific Ocean have revealed interstellar iron-60, manganese-53, and plutonium-244. Included are atoms dating back more than 20 million years. The coin as a scale has a diameter of 3.2 cm.
