HZDR physicist Prof. Anton Wallner is a specialist in the search for interstellar matter using Accelerator Mass Spectrometry (AMS). Wallner and his colleagues in Australia are currently on the hunt for further cosmic isotopes - in Canberra he is searching for Fe-60 atoms, in Sydney for PU-244 atoms. To this end, he has received a number of lunar samples from the US space agency NASA.
