Time-lapse in vivo imaging of injured muscle visualized the spatiotemporal interaction between activated muscle satellite cells (MuSCs) (yellow), macrophages (magenta), and other non-myogenic cells (cyan) during the proliferation stage. The results demonstrated that cell-cell contact between MuSCs and non-myogenic cells were transient.
