Thomas Kodadek, Ph.D., has been awarded an NIH Transformative Research Award grant. Kodadek, a chemistry professor at The Herbert Wertheim UF Scripps Institute for Biomedical Innovation & Technology, proposes a new approach to fighting cancer and other diseases, by exploiting the cell’s own protein recycling system.
