A system diagram of the proposed framework that uses semantic communication and contest theory to optimize resource allocation for Metaverse services. The framework consists of three components: cameras in the physical world that capture users’ movements, tier-2 devices that perform 3D body key-points detection and encoding, and a contest-based incentive mechanism that determines the optimal uploading frequency for each user. The framework aims to provide a smooth and immersive experience for users in the Metaverse.
