World Scientific is pleased to launch the new open access journal: Chinese Journal of International Review.
Chinese Journal of International Review (CJIR) is a bi-annual journal jointly published by Shanghai International Studies University (SISU) and World Scientific. The journal aims to publish rigorous scholarship that engages with either policy-relevant or theory-oriented research in international studies. The journal intends to publish works that: (1) analyse contemporary important international affairs; (2) theorise on major sub-fields of international relations; (3) review the most recent scholarly papers and books; and (4) facilitate the exchange of ideas between China and the world.
Founded in 2014, School of International Relations and Public Affairs (SIRPA) at SISU focuses on both education and research in International Relations in general and Area Studies in particular. SIRPA has undergraduate and graduate programs in International Politics, Diplomacy, Political Science, Comparative Politics, International Public Administration, China Studies and Area Studies. SIRPA's history can be traced back to its research centers on Soviet Union Studies, Arabic Studies and American Studies in the 1980s. SIRPA is also known for its internationalisation effort in developing a robust global education community and research network.
