Alexandria, Va., USA - The International and American Associations for Dental Research (IADR/AADR) are pleased to announce that IADR/AADR's newest Journal, the JDR Clinical & Translational Research (JDR CTR), won the PROSE Award for "Best New Journal in Biological and Life Sciences."

The PROSE Awards, given annually by the Professional and Scholarly Publishing Division of the Association of American Publishers, recognize the best in professional and scholarly publishing by bringing attention to distinguished books, journals and electronic content in 58 categories.

Launched in 2016, the JDR CTR was designed for IADR/AADR members, affiliate members, as well as other oral health research leaders and the practicing community, to facilitate the translation of research findings to evidence-based prevention and care.

Professor Jocelyne Feine, McGill University, Montréal, QC, Canada, serves as Editor of this quarterly, peer-reviewed journal that encompasses all areas of clinical and translational research in the dental, oral and craniofacial sciences. The JDR CTR is dedicated to publishing original research at the interface between discovery science and clinical application, with the translation of research into healthcare delivery systems at the individual patient, clinical practice and community levels.

"I am truly delighted that the JDR CTR was awarded the Best New Journal in Biological and Life Sciences," said Feine. "Our journal has grown tremendously since its inception, and the JDR CTR is already making an impact on the field of dental, oral and craniofacial research."
