Family Medicine and Community Health accepted in Clarivate Analytics ESCI

Business Announcement

Cardiovascular Innovations and Applications

The editorial and publishing teams of Family Medicine and Community Health are very pleased to announce that Family Medicine and Community Health has been accepted in the Clarivate Analytics Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI).

The Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI) was launched late 2015 as a new database within Clarivate Analytics' Web of Science™ Core Collection, in order to complement the existing Web of Science databases (the Science Citation Index Expanded, the Social Science Citation Index, and the Arts & Humanities Citation Index). Family Medicine and Community Health has been accepted in the ESCI for its high-quality peer reviewed content of regional importance. As well as providing a mark of quality for the journal, inclusion in the ESCI will allow papers published in the journal to be searchable, discoverable and citable via the Web of Science. It means that articles published in Family Medicine and Community Health will be more visible and will most likely receive a higher citation count, thus increasing authors' H-index and influence in their field.

ESCI will also make content important to funders, key opinion leaders, and evaluators visible in Web of Science. For more information on ESCI, please go to: http://wokinfo.com/products_tools/multidisciplinary/esci/
