Oxford University Press (OUP) is pleased to announce its partnership with the Canadian Paediatric Society (CPS) to exclusively publish Paediatrics & Child Health (PCH), the only peer-reviewed paediatric journal in Canada.

Paediatrics & Child Health contains peer-review material and CPS guidelines addressing all aspects of child and youth health care. Its mission is to advocate for the health and well-being of all Canadian children and youth and to educate child and youth health professionals across the country.

"Our partnership with Oxford University Press represents a new era for Paediatrics & Child Health," said Dr. Jonathan Kronick, President of the Canadian Paediatric Society. "With our combined strengths in knowledge translation and medical publishing, readers can be assured of a journal that contributes to child and youth health both in the clinic and in the public policy sphere."

Established in 1996 and now owned by CPS, Paediatrics & Child Health reaches 8,000 paediatricians, family physicians and other child and youth health professionals, as well as government officials who are involved with health policy in Canada.

Matthew Jozwiak, Senior Editor, OUP USA, said, "We are extremely excited to commence our partnership with CPS and PCH. We look forward to helping further the society's important mission of advocacy and lending our extensive resources in the area of digital strategy to support further development of the journal."

Oxford Journals is a division of Oxford University Press, which publishes over 300 academic and research journals covering a broad range of subject areas, two thirds of which are published in collaboration with learned societies and other international organizations. Oxford Journals has been publishing journals for more than a century and, as part of the world's oldest and largest university press, has more than 500 years of publishing expertise behind it.

The Canadian Paediatric Society represents more than 3,300 paediatricians, paediatric subspecialists, paediatric residents, and other people who work with and care for children and youth. The CPS is active in professional education, knowledge translation, surveillance, and public policy advocacy.
