Business Announcement

Dove Medical Press

The Journal of Pain Research is a peer-reviewed, open access journal that publishes laboratory and clinical findings in the fields of pain research and the prevention and management of pain. The journal published its first articles in 2008, and is part of publisher Dove Medical Press's portfolio of over 130 open access journals.

Editor-in-Chief of the journal Dr Michael Schatman, Director of Research at the US Pain Foundation, USA, expressed his delight in the Impact Factor score, saying, "To put this score in perspective, this makes the Journal of Pain Research the third highest-rated open access journal in the world in either the Anesthesiology or Clinical Neurology category. Furthermore, our Impact Factor score exceeds that of multiple well-established journals that are associated with pain societies.

In addition to publishing high-quality research, our publication is proud to also have become a leader in publications on pain policy as well. We thank our authors for their hard work, loyalty, and willingness to work closely with our editorial and production teams."
