BMJ

Global healthcare knowledge provider BMJ is now the exclusive sales channel for institutional customers outside the UK wanting access to RCNi Learning - a brand new e-learning platform from RCNi for nurses and nursing students.

RCNi is part of the Royal College of Nursing Group, connecting over 430,000 nurses worldwide. The collaboration builds on existing links between BMJ and RCNi.

RCNi Learning (rcnilearning.com) is a brand new interactive online learning resource that supports nurses through their academic studies and helps them complete vital continuing professional development (CPD) requirements.

The platform launches with 135 modules, covering topics such as communication, cancer, acute care, wound care, and mental health, with 50 more due for release in the coming weeks. Podcasts, images, case studies, and practical skills based exercises are used to create a rich learning environment.

Accredited by the Royal College of Nursing to ensure it meets the highest standards of excellence, RCNi Learning promotes best practice, and provides effective education outcomes to improve patient care.

RCNi Learning works perfectly on smartphones and tablets enabling learning on the go and very soon there will also be an app for Apple and Android devices so users will be able to learn even without access to the internet.

BMJ CEO, Tim Brooks said: "BMJ's vision is for 'a healthier world'. We know we can better realise this vision by working with excellent partners who share that vision. RCNi is the perfect example, and I'm sure its Learning resources will be welcomed by our many institutional customers globally. We're really pleased to be working with RCNi in this way."

Rachel Armitage, Managing Director, RCNi, said: "We are thrilled to be working with BMJ on this exciting new learning resource. Our partnership reflects our shared commitment to provide the nursing community and healthcare professionals around the world with the very best learning resources they need to deliver high quality patient care."
