Springer Healthcare expands relationship with leading oncology association

New agreement follows a successful three-year period as exclusive supplier of ASCO's Journal of Clinical Oncology and Journal of Oncology Practice for major Pharma markets including North America, Japan, India and most of Europe

Springer Healthcare, part of Springer Nature, has signed an exclusive three-year global* commercial reprints representation agreement with the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO)®, the world's leading professional organization representing physicians who care for people with cancer.

The new agreement, which began on Jan. 1, 2016, adds another of ASCO's flagship publications, the Journal of Global Oncology, to Springer Healthcare's portfolio and expands its reach to include Africa, South Korea, France, Latin America and the Middle East.

Under the terms of the deal, Springer Healthcare will also continue to provide commercial reprints from articles published in ASCO's Journal of Clinical Oncology and Journal of Oncology Practice, in major Pharma markets including North America, Japan, India and most of Europe, following a successful three-year period which began in 2011.

The new contract runs from Jan. 1, 2016 to Dec. 31, 2018.

  • Excluding China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Macau, Romania, Russia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Estonia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan (Headquarter sales that include distribution in these territories are not excluded and are allowed)
