Business Announcement

Oxford University Press UK

Oxford University Press (OUP) is pleased to announce its new relationship with the International College of Neuropsychopharmacology (CINP). Beginning in 2015, OUP and CINP will partner to publish International Journal of Neuropsychopharmacology (IJNP) as a fully open-access journal.

Alan Frazer, Editor-in-Chief of IJNP said, "Our belief is that the size and expertise of OUP will further facilitate the goal for the IJNP to become one of the very leading journals within neuropsychopharmacology. The conversion of the IJNP to an online-only open access model will not only expedite articles being published more rapidly but broaden its availability to investigators world-wide and increase those with access to it. We are all looking forward to a highly productive relationship with OUP."

IJNP is the major forum for high quality, influential research in neuropsychopharmacology. IJNP's focus is on research which advances understanding of neuropsychopharmacological agents, including clinical application, or which provides insights into the biological basis of neuropsychiatric disorders and thereby advances their pharmacological treatment.

Shigeto Yamawaki, president of CINP stated, "CINP is the only "international" college in our field, and our mission is to disseminate the highest quality educational and research content globally. Our partnership with OUP on IJNP will further this mission. IJNP's conversion to open access allows its content to be accessed by even more of our community and, furthermore, demonstrates the leadership role in the community of both the college and IJNP."

"We're very excited about welcoming IJNP to Oxford University Press' journal collection," said Alison Denby, Editorial Director of OUP's journals program. "IJNP is a leader in the field of neuropsychopharmacology both in terms of its extremely high quality and innovative approach. Its high ranking in neuroscience, pharmacology, and psychiatry demonstrate how respected and influential IJNP really is."
