Travel Behaviour and Society is an interdisciplinary journal publishing high-quality, original papers which report on leading research in theory, methodology and applications, in relation to the issues and challenges surrounding the social and spatial aspects of transportation. "Transportation issues and challenges are so closely intertwined with the fabrics of society that key transportation problems, such as congestion and air pollution, cannot be fully understood and long-lasting solutions cannot be developed, without understanding travel behaviour," explained Prof. Becky P.Y. Loo of the University of Hong Kong and Prof. Donggen Wang of the Hong Kong Baptist University, Editors-in-Chief of the journal. "Travel Behaviour and Society is the journal for researchers to report and learn about top-quality, cutting-edge research on understanding people in relation to transportation, and on the impact of transportation on society."

Chris Pringle, Executive Publisher at Elsevier added, "HKSTS members have long been among the most significant contributors to Elsevier transportation journals. We are therefore delighted to have the opportunity to collaborate with such an important and influential society as HKSTS."
