Bethesda, MD – The Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology (FASEB) announced today the signing of its newest client, the International Conference on Human Immunity to Tuberculosis, which will hold its symposium at the Emory Conference Center in Atlanta, Georgia, on April 13-14, 2012. The organizing committee has retained FASEB to provide meeting management services. One of the organizers, Joel D. Ernst, MD commented, "As the global epidemic of tuberculosis continues to grow, there is an increasing need to understand how human immune responses can be optimized to better control TB. Since there are emerging new tools for studying human immunity, this meeting will help advance the field by promoting interactions between scientists at the forefront of studying human immunology and tuberculosis in areas with high burdens of TB. We are excited to partner with FASEB who has extensive experience in scientific meeting logistical support which will aid us in bringing this conference to fruition."

As part of its meeting management services, FASEB will launch a new symposium website, provide logistical services from planning to on site supervision, design and implement a registration portal for attendees, and handle all accounting support services. Marcella Jackson, CMP, Director of FASEB's Office of Scientific Meetings & Conferences (OSMC) shares Dr. Ernst's enthusiasm, "The OSMC staff are thrilled to support the launch of the organizer's symposium. We look forward to helping them enhance their science and expand their audience."
