Springer and Sense Publishers have signed an agreement which covers the distribution of the book program of Sense Publishers as part of Springer's eBook collection on www.springerlink.com, starting in 2011. Sense has an annual output of some 100 titles in education and educational research, including titles that focus on the student market. Sense will continue to sell print copies of its publications through its own distribution channels.

"We are delighted with this arrangement. Making use of Springer's global reach through SpringerLink, we expect to significantly expand our online exposure to the benefit of our authors and customers," said Peter de Liefde, Sense Managing Director.

Harmen van Paradijs, Editorial Director of Human Sciences at Springer, welcomes the addition of the Sense program to Springer. "These titles fit perfectly with our research program in education. With a combined output of some 250 titles per year, our customers now have one-stop access to a significant part of the literature in this discipline," he said.
