BioMed Central, the world's largest open access publisher with over 200 peer-reviewed journals has teamed up with Quertle LLC to add over 60,000 published articles into the latest version of their innovative online biomedical search tool.

"We are excited to introduce relationship-driven semantic searching of full-text documents," said Jeffrey Saffer, Quertle's President. "In doing so, it is natural for us to incorporate content from BioMed Central, the pioneer of open access publishing. Their content is high quality, covers a wide set of disciplines and will be of great interest to our users."

2. Quertle (http://www.quertle.info/) goes beyond simple term matching to identify the most salient information in the literature. Using a combination of linguistic methods, Quertle finds facts defined within documents, creating its own database of nearly 200 million relationships, and is able to report the ones that are relevant to your query. Quertle's approach is based on a thorough understanding of biology and chemistry and was built from the ground up to address the unique needs of researchers who depend (http://www.quertle.info/v2/) upon this technical literature.
