Beijing, 12 October 2009 – Elsevier, a world-leading publisher of scientific, technical and medical information products and services, today announced its publishing partnership with Peking University. Under the agreement, Elsevier will publish the Proceedings of the Beijing Forum from 2004 to 2008 in Procedia.
Procedia is Elsevier's e-only product dedicated to publishing high quality conference proceedings. Procedia enables fast dissemination so conference delegates can publish their papers in a dedicated online issue on ScienceDirect, which will then be made freely available worldwide.
Initiated in 2004, the aim of the Beijing Forum is to promote the study of humanities and social sciences globally.
