Elsevier partners with the Royal Netherlands Society for Agricultural Sciences

New partnership to publish NJAS - Wageningen Journal of Life Sciences

Amsterdam, 12 November 2008. - Elsevier, a leading publisher of scientific, technical and medical information products and services, announced today that it will publish NJAS - Wageningen Journal of Life Sciences (http://www.elsevier.com/locate/njas) on behalf of Royal Netherlands Society for Agricultural Sciences (KLV), starting in 2009 with Volume 57, issue 1.

NJAS - Wageningen Journal of Life Sciences, published since 1952, is the quarterly journal of the Royal Netherlands Society of Agricultural Sciences. It offers new research results of disciplinary as well as transdisciplinary and interdisciplinary studies, with an emphasis on interaction between natural and social sciences and system approaches in:

  • Plant Science, Plant Genetics and Biotechnology
  • Animal Science
  • Environmental Science
  • Social Science
  • Food Science, Nutrition and Technology

Elsevier will distribute the NJAS globally via ScienceDirect, its market-leading electronic platform. ScienceDirect is currently accessed by over 11 million users worldwide who are able to easily further their research through linked references and many other helpful features.
