APC papers in global theme issue on poverty

AIDS Patient Care and STDs chosen as 1 of 7 papers

New Rochelle, NY, October 22, 2007— “Human Resources for Treating HIV/AIDS: Needs, Capacities, and Gaps” published online today in AIDS Patient Care and STDs has been selected to be one of seven papers presented orally at the NIH Launch of the Council of Science Editors’ Global Theme Issue on Poverty and Human Development. The Global Theme issue is a special worldwide publishing event on October 22, 2007 to raise awareness and stimulate dialogue to address this worldwide challenge. The paper is authored by Till Bärnighausen (University of KwaZulu-Natal, Mtubatuba, South Africa), David Bloom (Harvard), and Salal Humair (Lahore University of Management and Sciences, Pakistan).
