Testing new TB vaccines—what are the regulatory issues?

In a policy paper in this week’s PLoS Medicine, Michael Brennan (US Food and Drug Administration) and colleagues lay out the regulatory challenges for testing and introducing investigative TB vaccines into countries where the disease is endemic.
