Chinese Academy of Engineering and Springer enter publishing partnership

Engineering Sciences strengthens Springer in the Chinese market for scientific literature

Springer has announced a new partnership with the Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE) to publish their journal Engineering Sciences as of January 2008. This is the first agreement that Springer has signed with the CAE. Springer is the world's leading provider of Chinese research literature, and this journal will further strengthen its presence in the market.

Engineering Sciences is a comprehensive and high-level academic journal for the engineering science and technology communities in China. Its international editorial board includes experts from the USA, the UK, and Europe, as well as China. Editor-in-Chief is Professor Wang Xuguang, a CAE academic who enjoys a high reputation both in China and abroad. Together with the CAE, Springer will publish Engineering Sciences in both print and electronic formats four times a year. The online version will be available on SpringerLink, Springer's online information platform.

Editor-in-Chief Wang Xuguang said, "We look forward to collaborating with Springer on the publication of Engineering Sciences so that we may concentrate fully on our primary mission: the advancement of engineering science and technology. We are also pleased to partner with this respected publishing house, which has a long tradition of excellent relations with China."
