SCIENTIFIC REVIEW OF THE PROPOSED RISK ASSESSMENT BULLETIN FROM THE OFFICE OF MANAGEMENT AND BUDGET, new from the National Research Council, will be released Jan. 11. The report assesses a draft bulletin issued by OMB last January that prescribed technical guidance for federal risk assessments, which underpin many regulatory decisions. The findings and recommendations of the report will be discussed during a one-hour telephone conference call.
