KGaA announced today that it has acquired publishing assets from PJ Barnes & Associates and will assume publishing for the international news and review journal Lipid Technology as of January 2007. The acquisition enhances Wiley-VCH’s already impressive list of food and nutrition journals.

Lipid Technology offers the latest worldwide developments in the science, technology, markets and commerce of oilseeds, fats, oils, and other lipids. Lipid Technology also focuses on critical new technologies and products such as genetically-modified crops and foods, novel seed crops, functional foods, nutraceuticals, dietary supplements, biotechnology, enzymes, vitamins, antioxidants, phytochemicals, bioactive lipids, medicine cosmeceuticals, renewable resources, biodiesel and many more topics.
