National Academies advisory: Genomics Revolution Conference summary

Last November the National Academies Keck Futures Initiative held a conference at which researchers from many fields gathered to participate in a series of working groups to develop new methods to identify, diagnose and treat infectious disease using biotechnology and genomics. THE GENOMICS REVOLUTION: IMPLICATIONS FOR TREATMENT AND CONTROL OF INFECTIOUS DISEASE, a summary of the conference, explores nine challenges in this area and possible solutions to them.
