World-leading scientific and medical publisher Elsevier is pleased to announce that it has formed a publishing partnership with the American Association of Endodontists. Elsevier will become the new publisher of the AAE's esteemed journal, Journal of Endodontics, effective January 2006. Published monthly, the Journal of Endodontics helps more than 6,600 endodontists and general dentists keep pace with new concepts in root canal treatment and the latest advances in techniques and instrumentation.

Kenneth M. Hargreaves, D.D.S., Ph.D., continues to serve as Editor of Journal of Endodontics. Dr. Hargreaves is also professor and chair of the department of endodontics at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas. The Journal of Endodontics is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes scientific articles, case reports, and comparison studies evaluating materials and methods of pulp conservation and endodontic treatment. 2006 marks its 33rd year of publication.

Members of the American Association of Endodontists and subscribers will continue to receive the print version of the Journal of Endodontics. They can also access the entire contents of each issue online at www.jendodon.com in HTML and PDF formats. Other online features include a comprehensive search engine, allowing users to search only the Journal of Endodontics, or include hundreds of other Elsevier journals and MEDLINE in a single query; options to sign-up for e-mail alerts; and embedded links to valuable content, such as the Mosby Drug Consult database. The Journal of Endodontics will also be accessible through Elsevier's institutional subscription service, ScienceDirect.

"The Journal of Endodontics is a wonderful addition to the collection of dentistry-related journals published by Elsevier," says Patricia Nornhold, Executive Vice President, Elsevier U.S. Health Sciences Division. "Combined with an expanded online presence through ScienceDirect, we aim to strengthen the Journal's position as a vital resource for the worldwide dental community."
