Materials Congress 2000, the largest interdisciplinary event for the materials science and engineering community in the UK, will be held on 12-14 April 2000 at the Royal Agricultural College in Cirencester, Gloucestershire, UK.
Materials Congress 2000 will be the first major meeting of the millennium for materials engineers, industrialists, students, researchers and scientists and will include a comprehensive conference programme covering topics from the structure of materials and advanced processing techniques to biomimetics and materials education.
The latest developments in materials science and engineering will be on display at the Materials Research Exchange and Materials Industries Exhibition together with presentations, posters and a full social programme of activities.

Institute of Materials. The first Materials Congress was held at Cirencester in
April 1998.
