500 Bay Area Women And Teens Will Attend UCSF Conference On Women's And Teen Health, Saturday March 20

More than 500 Bay Area women and teen girls are expected to attend UCSF's sixth annual Women and Teen Health 2000 symposia, called "Optimizing Your Health for the New Millennium."

LOCATION: UCSF CAMPUS, 513 PARNASSUS AVE.

State Senator Jackie Speier will deliver the keynote address during which she will discuss "The Politics of Women's Health in California."

More than twenty-five topics requested by women in the Bay Area will be discussed including women's sexual health, herbal remedies and dietary supplements, menopause, and learning to negotiate.

Teen Health 2000, which will run concurrently with the women's symposium, will cover topics such as body image, advocacy, race, contraception and STDs.
