An advanced fatty liver disease called non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) is promoted by cholesterol accumulation (blue) in macrophages (yellow). Using a unique supramolecule (bottom right), researchers successfully removed cholesterol, stopping the progression of the disease.
