Decision process for human-AI collaboration (IMAGE)
Caption
This diagram shows the decision process for when an AI-based robot encounters a problem during a source search. The robot will determine if the problem could be solved with human assistance or not. If the problem cannot be solved with human assistance, for example, if the search area is simply too large, then the search will end. However, if it can be solved by human assistance, the human participants will receive an explanation of the problem and suggestions for how to solve it.
