Boston College economists (IMAGE) Boston College Caption Boston College economists Utku Unver and Tayfun Sonmez, experts in matching markets, helped develop a system to match donors and recipients for paired liver exchange. Using the program, partners at a medical center in Turkey completed the first four-way paired liver exchange, the team reported in the American Journal of Transplantation.
