Urchin on fishing line (IMAGE) California Academy of Sciences Caption This Fire Urchin (Asthenosoma varium) is hanging on to a fishing line while camouflaging itself with a piece of a blue plastic bag at about 130-m depth in the Philippines. These urchins usually pick up blades of seagrass or small pieces of rubble to blend in with the bottom, but this one picked up a piece of plastic.
