Husker researchers Cody Stolle (right), Josh Steelman (center) and Ronald Faller lean against a guardrail developed at the Nebraska-housed Midwest Roadside Safety Facility. With support from the U.S. Army, the engineers are refining barriers that ring the perimeters of U.S. military bases and protect the gated checkpoints used by friendly vehicles.
